Motion Graphics Designer

PixelBull is looking for an experienced Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team.

This is a motion-first role. We’re looking for someone who is highly skilled in motion graphics, animation, and video, with a strong understanding of design. You should be comfortable taking a creative brief and turning it into polished, engaging motion content for different brands and platforms.

What You’ll Be Creating

• High-quality motion graphics for paid ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns
• Short-form video content (5–30 sec ads, loops, animations, explainers)
• Animated social media creatives
• Kinetic typography and text animation
• Transitions, effects, compositing, and visual effects
• Logo animations and basic motion branding
• Product animations and promotional videos
• Video editing, pacing, and storytelling
• Motion adaptations and different formats for social platforms
• Static design work when needed to support motion projects

Required Skills

Motion graphics is the core of this role. You must have strong professional experience creating motion content.

Required:

• Adobe After Effects — Expert level / core requirement
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Figma

You should have a strong understanding of:

• Animation principles
• Timing, easing, and transitions
• Typography and kinetic type
• Composition and visual hierarchy
• Storytelling through motion
• Video editing and pacing
• Visual effects and compositing
• Creating engaging content for ads and social media

Nice to have:

• Cinema 4D / Blender
• 3D motion graphics
• Basic sound design
• Experience working with performance marketing / paid advertising creatives

• Strong creative and design eye
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to create polished, professional animation
• Ability to take a brief and develop it into a strong visual concept
• Ability to work from existing brand guidelines and also bring creative ideas
• Understanding of what makes motion content engaging and effective
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication and English skills
• Comfortable working with a remote creative team and handling multiple projects

Interview Process

We have a 3-step interview process:

1. HR Interview
If selected, you'll first have a short interview with our HR team. This will cover basic communication, English level, experience, availability, and general fit for the role.

2. Paid Creative Test
Candidates who move forward will complete a paid creative test. The test will be based on the type of motion graphics work you'll be creating for PixelBull.

This is an important part of our process because we want to see your actual motion skills, creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work from a brief.

3. Final Interview with Our Creative Director
Candidates who successfully complete the creative test will have a final interview with our Creative Director. We'll review your test, talk through your creative process and experience, and discuss the role in more detail.

If it's a good fit on both sides, we'll move forward with the hiring process.
