At Hashtag, the Senior Motion Designer brings our work to life in motion. You own the animation and motion-graphics craft across the agency, from scroll-stopping social to the titles and graphics that lift our films, and you set the standard for how motion looks here.

You're excellent at motion, and you love the craft. You can take a flat idea and give it energy, and you know how motion should feel across content and film alike.

What You'll Do

Own Motion

• Lead the animation and motion-graphics craft across our brands.
• Turn briefs and static ideas into motion that stops the scroll.
• Set the standard for motion quality across the agency.

Bring Film to Life

• Add motion, titles, and graphic layers to our shoot-based films, with Production.
• Partner with Production on how motion serves the edit.

Lift the Craft

• Guide the Motion Designer on craft and direction.
• Keep raising what motion can do for a brand.

Deliver

• Own quality and timelines on motion work.
• Plan motion across content and film so nothing bottlenecks (with the Head of Design).

What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)

• Motion is a visible strength in our work.
• Content and film both get the motion they need, on time.
• The Motion Designer you guide grows fast.

Who You Are

• 4–6 years in motion design / animation.
• A strong reel across social motion, brand, and film graphics.
• Range across 2D/animation and film support (titles, text animation, overlays).
• A craft leader who can guide a junior.
• Organised across competing content and film demands.

Nice-to-Haves (Optional)

• 3D, VFX, or editing skills.
• Illustration or graphic-design range.
• Ambition to grow into broader design leadership.
