Motion Video Designer

Responsibilities

Below are some of the responsibilities of a motion graphics designer:

• Conceptualize and create engaging videos, animations, illustrations
• Collaborate with a team of creatives (film and video producers, directors, editors, creative directors)
• Take direction from clients, producers, and directors
• Manage a team of graphic artists and typographers to deliver unique motion graphics sequences
• Collaborate with writers, animators, art directors, and other motion graphics artists on storyboards and scripts
• Work both independently and in a group
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders on each product to ensure deadlines are met

Job qualifications and skill sets

Below are the qualifications expected of a motion graphics designer:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, video production, visual effects, or a related field
• One to three years of experience in animation
• A strong portfolio exemplifying ability to tell a story through motion
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro), Final Cut Pro, Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, and other motion graphics design software
• Comprehensive understanding of typography and its use within graphic design
• Understanding of color theory
• Knowledge of the basic principles of design
• Knowledge of branding and visual systems

Pay: Up to ₹25,640.64 per month
