Who will you be working with?

You’ll work alongside experienced claims and motor professionals in a collaborative team environment, reporting to a supportive Motor Assessing Team Leader. What will you be doing?  

• Manage allocated motor claims from assessment through to repair outcomes
• Assess vehicle damage through virtual assessments and supplier reports
• Determine causation, coverage, damage and appropriate repair methods
• Review repair scopes and provide accurate, cost-effective recommendations
• Prepare and review damage repair quotes and estimates
• Build strong relationships with repairers and internal stakeholders
• Negotiate repair scopes, costs and outcomes with repair networks
• Deliver quality customer and stakeholder outcomes throughout the claims process

 
What do you need?  

• Panel Beating or Automotive Spray Painting qualification, or relevant experience
• Previous experience in motor assessing, repair estimating or a related role
• Strong understanding of vehicle damage and repair processes
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong computer literacy and willingness to embrace technology
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commercial decision-making skills
• Full working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete background checks and paid training
• Flexibility to work across Sydney assessment centres when required
