Motor Mechanic (full time)

Regent Workshops are seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanic to join our established independent car and light commercial garage in Whitstable (not our bus & coach garage, which is separate).

We are looking for a skilled technician with a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience who takes pride in quality of workmanship and professional standards.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a range of makes and models from cars up to vans and motorhomes.

Duties include:

• Routine servicing and mechanical repairs
• Diagnostics and fault finding (mechanical & electrical)
• Timing belts, clutches, brakes, suspension, engine work
• Air Conditioning servicing and repair
• Completing job cards and maintaining high workshop standards

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a level 3 Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic ability
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional attitude and pride in workmanship

Working Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday (No Saturdays) 08:00 - 17:00/18:00

Pay: £39,780.00-£44,460.00 per year
