Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues
• Perform repairs and maintenance on motor vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
• Utilise hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques effectively and safely
• Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs
• Carry out equipment repair and maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency
• Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as required for repairs or upgrades
• Execute heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle components or parts
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance; formal qualifications in automotive technology are desirable
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
• Experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and heavy lifting safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing

Pay: £29,995.00-£45,000.00 per year
