Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 basic, depending on experience
OTE: £38,000 to £46,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am to 1:00pm
Location: Listers Volvo Worcester

The role

You’ll service, diagnose and repair Volvo vehicles, using your technical knowledge to make sure every vehicle is cared for to a high standard. You’ll be part of a supportive workshop where quality, teamwork and the customer experience matter.

With modern facilities, manufacturer training and ongoing development, there are opportunities to continue building your skills and progress towards becoming a Volvo Qualified Service Technician or Master Technician.

What you’ll be doing

• Service, diagnose and repair Volvo vehicles.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and diagnostic work.
• Work on electric and hybrid vehicles, with training provided.
• Complete paperwork and video reports to a high standard.
• Work as part of the team to deliver a great customer experience.

About you

We’d like to hear from experienced Vehicle Technicians from a range of automotive backgrounds, whether you currently work within a main retailer, independent garage, fast-fit centre or car supermarket.

You’ll ideally have:

• An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or be working towards completion.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or in a similar automotive role.
• A full UK driving licence.
• EV or Hybrid certification would be an advantage, but isn’t essential as training will be provided.
• An MOT licence would also be beneficial but isn’t essential.
