Job Title: Motorcycle Lot Technician

Job Summary: The Motorcycle Lot Technician is responsible for the proper care, storage, and presentation of motorcycles on the dealership lot or service center. This position involves tasks related to cleaning, detailing, organizing, and occasionally assisting with basic maintenance & replacing tires off the motorcycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motorcycle Cleaning and Detailing:

• Wash and detail motorcycles to maintain a clean and polished appearance.

• Apply protective coatings and treatments to preserve paint and finishes.

• Clean and polish chrome, aluminum, and other metal parts.

• Lot Organization:

• Organize motorcycles on the lot to maximize space and enhance visual appeal.

• Maintain an organized and efficient inventory of motorcycles.

• Ensure that motorcycles are properly positioned for display and customer access.

• Basic Maintenance Assistance:

• Assist technicians with basic motorcycle maintenance tasks as needed.

• Check and maintain tire pressure, fluid levels, and battery charge.

• Perform minor adjustments and installations as directed by senior technicians.

• Documentation:

• Record and report any damages or issues with motorcycles to the appropriate personnel.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and lot maintenance activities.

• Customer Service:

• Assist customers with locating motorcycles on the lot.

• Provide basic information about motorcycles to potential buyers.

• Offer exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.

• Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling motorcycles.

• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in motorcycle detailing or similar roles is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of motorcycle components and maintenance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good moral character
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements: This role may involve lifting 50lbs+, bending, and prolonged periods of standing. The ability to maneuver motorcycles is essential.
