JOB VACANCY – BIKE PURCHASER / MOTORCYCLE BUYER

WXL Bikers is looking for a Bike Purchaser / Motorcycle Buyer to join our team.

We are looking for someone who really knows motorcycles. You do not necessarily need to have previous experience working in a motorcycle shop or automotive company. If you are a serious biker / motorcycle enthusiast who knows different motorcycle models, engine specifications and understands the motorcycle market, we encourage you to apply.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend motorcycle auctions and bidding sessions on behalf of the Management.
• Inspect and evaluate motorcycles before bidding or purchasing.
• Assess motorcycle condition, including engine, chassis, mileage, electrical system, suspension, brakes, tyres and overall condition.
• Understand and compare engine CC, engine power, performance, engine type and specifications.
• Identify potential problems, accident damage or motorcycles that may require high repair costs.
• Research current market prices and resale values of different motorcycle models.
• Recommend suitable motorcycles for WXL to purchase based on condition, market demand and budget.
• Participate in bidding according to management's instructions and approved budget.
• Communicate and negotiate with auction organisers, dealers and sellers.
• Keep updated with new and used motorcycle models and current market trends.
• Prepare simple reports on motorcycles inspected, purchased, rejected and bidding prices.
• Coordinate with the WXL team after successful purchases.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Male candidate.
• Fluent in English – able to communicate confidently with auction organisers, sellers and business contacts.
• Strong knowledge of motorcycles is essential.
• Able to understand motorcycle specifications such as CC, horsepower/engine power, engine type, performance and model differences.
• Good understanding of motorcycle condition and common mechanical issues.
• Able to identify whether a motorcycle is worth purchasing based on its condition and market value.
• Automotive/motorcycle working experience is NOT compulsory.
• Active bikers / motorcycle enthusiasts with strong motorcycle knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Good judgement, observation and attention to detail.
• Confident and able to make clear recommendations to Management.
• Willing to travel and attend motorcycle auctions when required.
• Able to work independently and responsibly.
