Motorcycle Sales Associate

Legacy Harley-Davidson is looking for a motivated, outgoing Motorcycle Sales Associate to join our team!

We are looking for someone who enjoys motorcycles, loves working with people, and has the drive to build relationships and close sales. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, charismatic, enthusiastic, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative.

This is a full-time, base salary plus commission position with excellent earning potential for someone who is motivated to sell.

Compensation

Starting base salary: $1,000 plus commission

Compensation consists of a base salary plus sales commissions. Additional details regarding the commission structure and earning opportunities will be discussed during the interview process.

Schedule

Tuesday–Friday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Saturdays are required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their motorcycle needs, wants, and riding preferences
• Help customers select the motorcycle that best fits their needs and lifestyle
• Build lasting customer relationships and provide an excellent dealership experience
• Consistently follow up with prospective and existing customers using our established sales process
• Utilize customer retention/CRM and texting software to communicate with leads and customers
• Make outbound calls and follow up on internet and dealership leads
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information
• Ride and move used motorcycles in and out of the dealership as needed
• Maintain a clean, professional, and organized sales floor, desk, and work area
• Participate in dealership events and customer activities as required
• Continue developing product knowledge and stay current on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, features, and technology

Qualifications

• Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and follow through
• Comfortable meeting new people and building customer relationships
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
• Excellent phone, text, and in-person communication skills
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Prior powersports, motorcycle, or automotive sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience with CRM/customer retention software is a plus
• Knowledge of motorcycles and the Harley-Davidson® brand is preferred
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test

Motorcycle License Requirement

A valid motorcycle license/endorsement is required for this position. Candidates who do not currently have a motorcycle endorsement must obtain one within 90 days of employment.

You must be comfortable riding and safely moving motorcycles as part of your regular job duties.
