Motorcycle Technician

About the role

As a Motorcycle Technician at Filco Farm & Sport, you will service, diagnose, and repair motorcycles, side by sides, and ATVs for one of New Zealand's leading motorcycle dealerships representing world-renowned brands including Yamaha, Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, and Aprilia.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a range of motorcycles, side by sides and ATVs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
• Complete warranty work in accordance with manufacturer requirements
• Assemble and perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Contribute to a clean, organised, and productive workshop environment

About you

• Hold a recognised motorcycle or automotive trade qualification (preferred)
• Have proven experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing motorcycles, side by sides and ATVs
• Be confident using diagnostic equipment and modern workshop technology
• Take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Be able to communicate effectively
• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be organised and have a willingness to learn
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Have a genuine passion for motorcycles and the motorcycle industry
• Hold a current driver's licence and a full motorcycle licence
