Mould Design & Development Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for mould design, development and NPD for premium glass packaging products. The role involves creating 3D models and technical drawings, developing and modifying mould/tooling plans, supporting mould manufacturing and trials, and resolving design/production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop glass bottle/container moulds for NPD projects.
• Prepare 3D models, detailed drawings, specifications and tolerances using CAD tools.
• Coordinate with mould makers, production, quality and external suppliers.
• Support mould manufacturing, trials, validation and design corrections.
• Improve mould designs based on production and quality feedback.
• Support RFQs/tenders, technical evaluations and prototype/mock-up development.
• Coordinate with the French mould design/development team and other stakeholders.

Key Skills: Glass mould design, tooling, CAD/3D modelling, GD&T, mould manufacturing, NPD, mould trials, troubleshooting and vendor coordination.

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Tool & Die/Mould Design or related engineering field, with relevant mould/tooling experience.
