Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mould Fitter to join our Tool Room team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in plastic injection mould maintenance, fitting, assembly, dismantling, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fitting, assembly, dismantling, and maintenance of plastic injection moulds.
• Handle Hot Runner, Cold Runner, Two-Plate, and Three-Plate moulds.
• Carry out mould fitting, alignment, polishing, grinding, and component replacement.
• Identify and rectify mould-related issues during assembly and trials.
• Check and maintain mould components, inserts, sliders, lifters, ejector systems, cores, cavities, and other tooling components.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulds.
• Support mould trials and troubleshooting in coordination with the Tool Room and Production teams.
• Ensure proper mould assembly, dimensions, clearances, and functioning as per drawings/specifications.
• Maintain proper records of mould maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S and housekeeping within the Tool Room.
• Coordinate with Tool Room, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for mould-related activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Mould Fitter.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in a Tool Room environment.
• Experience in plastic injection mould manufacturing, maintenance, and fitting.
• Practical knowledge of Hot Runner, Cold Runner, Two-Plate, and Three-Plate moulds.
• Knowledge of mould components, fitting tolerances, alignment, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand engineering/tooling drawings.
• Good knowledge of hand tools, measuring instruments, and fitting tools.
• Ability to independently handle mould assembly, fitting, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Qualification

Diploma Holder – Mechanical / Tool & Die / Plastic / relevant technical discipline.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates having experience in a plastic injection moulding manufacturing company and hands-on experience in Tool Room mould fitting and maintenance will be preferred.
