Mould Maintenance Technician (Injection Moulding)

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of injection moulding machines and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to schedule.
• Monitor machine performance and resolve equipment issues to minimise downtime.
• Support moulding process improvement and machine optimisation activities.
• Perform mould and equipment servicing, modification and repair works.
• Troubleshoot ancillary equipment such as robotics, hopper loaders, dryers and related systems.
• Liaise with external suppliers for machine repair and technical support when required.
• Prepare maintenance reports and update equipment records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies and quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in machinery maintenance, injection moulding or manufacturing environment.
• Injection moulding experience is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Able to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic and electrical drawings.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
