Moulding supervisor (Sand Casting)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Team Leadership and Management:

• Supervise and lead a team.

• Schedule daily production and prioritize job orders.

• Train new personnel on operating procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.

• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and resolve.

• Production and Process Control:

• Monitor and optimize the Moulding process for efficiency and consistent quality.

• Set up and adjust Moulding machines (if applicable) and equipment parameters.

• Ensure all materials are correctly prepared, mixed, and utilized according to specifications.

• Troubleshoot Moulding defects and implement immediate corrective actions.

• Quality and Safety Compliance:

• Inspect completed molds and cores to verify dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

• Enforce strict adherence to all Environmental Health and Safety.

• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments for the Moulding area.

• Maintain detailed records of quality checks, production output, and scrap rates.

• Maintenance and Improvement:

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to schedule preventive maintenance.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance departmental productivity.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment 5S or similar lean manufacturing principles.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
