Moulding Technician

To prepare resin preheating, setup and start-up injection molding machines to produce molded parts in compliance with specifications.

Must be able to set parameter of plastic injection molding machines.

To perform product conversion, such as change of mold, inserts and mold test.

To ensure & maintain quality standards & cycle times for each product to meet injection schedule.

To ensure preventative maintenance of the injection machine and repairs are performed, to reduce machine downtime.

To identify the root cause of product defects, process failures or machine breakdown and perform immediate actions to overcome the issues for smooth production.

Troubleshoot mold failures and repairing, perform service and maintenance.

Responsible for taking care tools and equipment provided for work.

To monitor and ensure 5S concepts in daily practice.

To perform any other duties assigned by the superior(s) from time to time.
