Mountain Room Crew Member

Position Summary

The Mountain Room Crew Member serves as a server, runner, and busser throughout their shift. The Mountain Room Crew is vital to ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness, delivering food, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and with a friendly attitude
• Take food and beverage orders, provide menu recommendations, and ensure order accuracy
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and in a timely manner
• Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to kitchen and servers
• Assist kitchen during busy periods with basic prep and organization
• Monitor and attend to guest needs during their dining experience
• Handle payments and close out checks accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area and workspace
• Clear and reset tables quickly between guests
• Ensure tables, chairs, and floors are clean and presentable
• Ensure walkways are clear from tripping hazards, politely informing guests of designated bag areas
• Remove trash and food waste from dining area
• Restock stations with necessary supplies including utensils, napkins, and glassware
• Complete required training as assigned by mountain leadership
• Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period
• Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Positive attitude and passion for hospitality
• Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Successful completion of background check

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $17.50/hour
• Benefits: Complimentary ski/ride access for the duration of employment and employee discounts on food and beverages at participating locations (subject to mountain policy)
