Duties

• Load and unload shipments using appropriate materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes
• Safely operate heavy machinery including forklifts and crane systems following OSHA safety standards
• Assist with order picking using RF scanners and manual methods to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders
• Manage inventory by organizing materials within the warehouse and updating records accurately
• Participate in shipping and receiving activities by inspecting goods, verifying quantities, and documenting movements
• Follow safety protocols diligently during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries
• Support warehouse supervisors in maintaining efficient warehouse operations through active participation in daily tasks

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling environments
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, crane systems, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices and warehouse operations
• Manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence (OSHA compliance)
• Familiarity with RF scanners for order picking and inventory updates
• Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting warehouse activities

Pay: $27.17 - $30.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
