Mover/Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, assisting with loading and unloading, and providing excellent customer service during each delivery. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring that all items are delivered in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or commercial vehicle for deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Navigate designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Assist in the organization of warehouse space and inventory management.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for heavy lifting tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly with loading/unloading practices.
• Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license is required; familiarity with manual transmission is preferred.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier, including route driving, is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday.
