Mover/Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dependable Mover/Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading furniture, equipment, and other items while providing exceptional customer service. Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission for local route driving and deliveries
• Load and unload items using heavy lifting techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and manual tools
• Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents
• Deliver furniture and equipment efficiently to residential or commercial locations while maintaining excellent customer service
• Assist with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings during moving processes
• Follow designated routes accurately, adhering to schedules and safety protocols
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or mover with a focus on customer service
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not required
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred)
• Strong organizational skills for route planning and load management
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
