Mover/Packer

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that items are transported safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and possess the physical ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Duties

• Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage.
• Drive box trucks or other vehicles as needed for deliveries or pickups.
• Assist with packing and unpacking items for clients during moves.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary to move heavy items.
• Follow assigned routes for deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and moving equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles used for transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in moving, delivery driving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics is beneficial.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
