Duties

• Safely load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts
• Pack, wrap, and secure goods to prevent damage during transit
• Assist with moving furniture, boxes, and other items within warehouse or client locations
• Operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks or vans, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
• Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently while maintaining safe lifting practices
• Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, labeling packages, and maintaining cleanliness
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update logs, and communicate with team members effectively

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience or moving experience is highly preferred
• Valid commercial driving license with experience in driving box trucks or vans
• Experience in delivery driving or courier services involving route driving and customer interaction
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely
• Strong understanding of adhering to traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols during transportation

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
