Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies
• Pack belongings securely to prevent damage during transit, following safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines
• Operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery purposes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
• Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining a clean workspace
• Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring accurate placement of goods for timely deliveries
• Drive route vehicles confidently, following planned routes and schedules while prioritizing safety on the road
• Communicate professionally with customers during delivery or pickup, providing excellent customer service experiences

Skills

• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly preferred
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial truck driving is advantageous
• Experience operating box trucks, vans, or other delivery vehicles with manual transmission is desirable
• Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts safely and efficiently
• Strong driving skills with adherence to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude during interactions with clients
• Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation or communication purposes
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading heavy or bulky items

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
