Duties

• Safely lift, carry, and load furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move large or heavy items efficiently.
• Assist with packing and wrapping items securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Coordinate with team members and clients through clear communication to ensure smooth operations.
• Load and unload trucks carefully, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse or moving site.
• Support delivery drivers with commercial driving duties when required, adhering to all safety regulations.

Experience

• Prior experience in moving services, warehouse work, or related fields is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally.
• Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Experience in customer service roles that require patience, attentiveness, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory.
