Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes.
• Safely lift, carry, and move heavy items and furniture, adhering strictly to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, forklifts, heavy lifting tools, and order pickers to manage inventory efficiently.
• Organize and prepare items for transport by wrapping, packing, and labeling belongings accurately.
• Support warehouse operations by managing shipping & receiving processes, inventory management, and order picking tasks.
• Follow manual handling procedures to ensure safety during all material movements and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to load/unload materials swiftly while maintaining safety standards and proper documentation.

Experience

• Previous warehouse distribution or warehouse experience is highly preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks is a strong advantage.
• Prior roles involving order picker or shipping & receiving duties will help you excel in this position.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners enhances efficiency on the job.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following OSHA safety protocols is essential.
• Warehouse supervisor experience or background in warehouse operations provides valuable insight into team coordination.
• Basic math skills are necessary for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8.0 per week
