Mower/Landscaper

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes through mowing, trimming, planting, and general groundskeeping. Your expertise will ensure outdoor spaces are safe, attractive, and well-kept, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of commercial or residential properties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment while applying your landscaping skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver exceptional grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, mulching, and weed control
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and turf health
• Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support healthy landscape growth and pest management strategies
• Use hand tools and groundskeeping equipment to perform routine landscape repairs and hardscape installations
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Assist with snow plowing or winter landscape maintenance as needed during seasonal changes

Requirements

• Proven outdoor work experience with groundskeeping or landscaping tasks
• Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and landscaping equipment operation
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, tree care, gardening, and irrigation system management
• Ability to identify plants and pests accurately for effective horticulture practices
• Knowledge of pesticide management and safety procedures for chemical application
• Familiarity with hardscape features such as pathways or retaining walls is a plus
• Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions and the ability to lift heavy equipment or materials when necessary

Pay: $400.00 - $500.00 per week
