Mowing Crew Member

Overview:

Join our team as a Lawn Care and Maintenance Crew Member and contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients and the community.

You will be part of a team responsible for creating and maintaining Residential and Commercial Lawns and Gardens.

Crew Responsibilities*:

-General

• • Operate, Clean, and Maintain vehicles and landscape equipment.
• • Use hand tools effectively and safely.
• • Utilize applications on mobile phones to track assigned jobs and time sheets.
• • Assist Crew in meeting Client expectations.

- Lawn Maintenance

• • Trim lawn edges and around obstacles.
• • Use Blower to keep sidewalks and driveways free from grass clippings and debris.
• • Collect and bag grass clippings, yard waste, and debris.
• • Trim Trees and Bushes.
• • Spread or Spray fertilizers and pesticides.
• • Mow Lawns with push and stand on mowers.

- Garden Maintenance

• • Weed plant and garden beds.
• • Prune plants, hedges, and bushes.
• • Dig holes and prepare soil for planting.
• • Plant ornamental and edible plants.
• • Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering.

-Snow Removal

• • Operate trucks with plows and salters.
• • Shovel Snow.
• • Spread salt and ice melt on high traffic areas.

Requirements:

• • Lift 50 pounds.
• • Work well in a team environment.
• • Strong attention to detail and precision.
• • Follow detailed instructions.
• • Work independently.
• • Willing to improve.
• • Communicate clearly and concisely.
• • Able to commute to and from work.

Preferred Qualifications(Any or All):

• • Take pride in work performed.
• • Accountable.
• • Valid South Dakota Drivers’ License.
• • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
• • Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in Lawn Care.
• • Previous experience with full-time Lawn and Garden maintenance.
• • Knowledge of basic tree care practices.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour
