Duties

• Operate mowers, trimmers, hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and gardens.
• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing debris to ensure neat and tidy outdoor spaces.
• Assist with landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning trees and shrubs, and installing or repairing irrigation systems.
• Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers or stones, and maintaining pathways or patios.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation of tools like excavators and other machinery.
• Help with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes when required.
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving tree care, gardening, or landscape installation to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment and hand tools.
• Prior experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with power tools, landscaping techniques, and outdoor construction is a plus.
• Ability to operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, or snow plows is advantageous.
• Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures when handling tools like hand tools or power equipment.
• Willingness to learn about tree trimming, irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and general maintenance tasks.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is beneficial.
