Mowing Foreman

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mowing Foreman to lead our grounds maintenance team in delivering exceptional lawn care, landscape upkeep, and hardscaping projects. This role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations, supervise crew members, and ensure high-quality outdoor environments that meet client expectations. As a key leader in our landscaping division, you'll drive team performance, manage equipment, and coordinate projects to create beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces. Your expertise in groundskeeping, horticulture, and construction will be essential to success in this energetic and rewarding position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mowing crews to ensure efficient completion of lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks
• Some knowledge hardscaping construction projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape features is a plus.
• Some knowledge of irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy landscapes is a plus
• Some knowledge of various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence is a plus
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and company vehicles
• Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Lead team management efforts by training crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures

Skills

• Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping
• Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in outdoor environments
• Ability to operate landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on team management and crew motivation
• Knowledge of tree care practices and general grounds maintenance procedures
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles for transporting equipment or materials
• Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members and clients as needed

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
