MOWING /Landscape Employee Qualifications

In addition, all candidates must have the following:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from shop
• VALID driver’s license
• Minimum 2* year of experience* with weed eater/zero turn mower (3+ years preferred).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Pass an ILLEGAL drug screen
• Submit to a background check

Skill Requirements:

• This position primarily involves landscape maintenance and mowing, with periodic assistance on hardscape projects. Candidates should have strong landscaping experience, while any hardscape experience or knowledge is considered an advantage
• Proficient with weed eater, mower and other landscape equipment.
• Experience in operating hedge trimmers**, edgers, and blowers,** and others hand tools safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of proper mowing heights and grass health practices.
• Ability to take direction and follow it accurately. THIS IS A CORE REQUIREMENT!!
• Basic understanding of planting and mulch installation
• Experience setting steps, borders, and decorative rock or gravel a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
