(MP) Lab Team Leader

该职位来源于猎聘 Job Summary Manages team technical/scientific/application-service activities related to XRF&XRD range within China and surrounding regions, working with Sales, Customer Service and Customers to provide value-added solutions to stakeholders utilizing the Malvern Panalytical (MP) offerings within all MP sectors that we serve.

Job Responsibilities Act as the team leader of MP Xray application team to deliver high quality application development and service across all market sectors. Meanwhile, the candidate is expected to act as primary technical expert to drive sales and customer success for XRD product line.

• Sales process support
• Present MP offering advantage via professional experiment design & reporting in pre-sales scenarios.
• Provide expert-level product & application consultancy and competition advisory to the sales force.
• Knowledge Management & Training
• Prepare and deliver advanced-level lectures, seminars, and workshops in scientific scenarios for internal teams and end-users.
• Gather market, competitive, and customer feedback for internal product and marketing purposes.
• Guide team in high potential opportunity early engagement and solution development with high quality content creation.
• Provide training and upskilling for the global & local application teams.
• Customer Support
• Manage Xray application team for timely and high quality onsite application service.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance, applications consultancy, and onsite service to resolve pre- and post-sales customer issues.
• Support team to troubleshoot complex customer problems in conjunction with service team in both remote and onsite scenarios.
• Maintain a network with major end industries, channels and KOLs for VOC collection.
• Administrative & Operational Compliance
• Manage team to maintain accurate and timely records in CRM for all application related activities and opportunities.
• Oversee team to execute laboratory practice in good HSE discipline according to ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory instruments in working status for business usage.
• Submit monthly activity reports and manage travel expenditures within budget. Job Requirements:
• Ideally Master’s degree or higher in areas such as Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, and other scientific disciplines including the physical sciences is preferred.
• Experience in pharma, semiconductor, catalyst and other advanced Materials is preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, good oral skills are preferred.
• Previous laboratory experience is essential and expected.
• Minimum of 8 years’ direct industrial and/or academic experience, working in a research, development, or laboratory setting. Minimum of 3 years team management experience in a technical environment is required.
• Technical writing proficiency is highly preferred.
• Experience in typical Malvern Panalytical market sectors would be advantageous.
• Experience and direct knowledge of other Malvern Panalytical Technologies (e.g. XRF etc.) is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Knowledge and/or experience in competitive or orthogonal analytical techniques such as synchrotron radiation would be advantageous.
