You like learning about and creating with audio, video, lighting, cameras and other immersive technologies.

Summary Assist with the day to day activities of Media Pollution. Including helping assist with productions, events, rentals, maintenance and record keeping. Keep warehouse and office operations clean and running smoothly. Assist management with productions as needed. Productions and Events take place locally and internationally. Travel will be required. The ability to drive box trucks or vans is a must.

Responsibilities Technical

• Test and verify functionality of devices prior to release of rentals, productions and events
• Test and verify functionality of devices upon return of rentals, productions and events
• Help with technical aspects of projects including but not limited to converting and uploading client content
• Wire, setup, help troubleshoot electronics

Inventory and organization

• Ensure that inventory is organized and stocked correctly
• Clean and organize products
• Photograph and upload new inventory to website/instagram/etc
• Organize expendable/consumable supplies. Keep accurate inventory and restock as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized business environment
• Load, prepare, pack and setup installations in our studio and on location, for events and production
• Delivery setup and strike equipment per designs and specifications of project leads

Skills And Qualifications

• Leadership, can step in an full fill the role of assistant the Project Lead
• Have excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Knowledge of software and platforms including: Apple, Windows, Google Suite, Quickbooks, Instagram, You Tube, Tik Tok, Facebook, Website
• Independently skilled with technical software and platforms including: Adobe Creative Suite, Resolume, Touch Designer, Raspberry Pi
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to Drive a car and run errands (reimbursement included)
• Experience driving vans, 16 and 24’ box trucks
• MUST OWN A VEHICLE
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed
• Excellent Math, Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Technical aptitude and understanding of analog and digital audio/video signal path
• Professional, kind, patient attitude towards clients and staff
• Willingness to learn and grow

Optional Skills Abilities

• Soldering, Troubleshooting and/or electronics repair experience
• Video Editing experience
• Live Camera photo or film experience
• Programming or coding experience

General Information

• Part Time Position, potential to grow to full time
• Physical requirements: able stand, sit for extended periods. Able to lift 35+lbs.
• Office located in Newark, New Jersey
• Work schedule is flexible, but some event and productions days will be mandatory
• Technical training and career advancement opportunities provided
• Free Studio time available for personal projects
• Pay DOE $25-30/hr
