MR Driver

Workforce International are seeking an experienced and reliable MR Driver to join the team in the Newcastle area. This is a casual position, offering a great opportunity to work within an established and friendly team. This role has a strong view to permanency for the right candidate.

About the Role:

• 38 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
• $35.96/hour
• Immediate start for the right candidate
• Central Newcastle location
• View to permanency for the right person

What you'll be doing:

• Safely operating and maintaining a range of MR vehicles to transport aluminium products
• Adhering to all relevant road rules, regulations and safety protocols
• Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles as required
• Providing excellent customer service and on-time deliveries
• Completing accurate documentation and trip logs
• Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles

A successful candidate will:

• Valid NSW MR Licence (or higher)
• Experience in a similar driving role (experience in warehousing desired however not necessary)
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical assessment (including D&A screening)
• Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
• Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible schedule
