Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients' musculoskeletal systems
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images, following physician orders and safety protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards
• Review images for quality and completeness, and assist radiologists in image interpretation
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control procedures
• Document patient information and imaging details accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and imaging schedules

Skills and Qualifications:

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Proven experience operating MRI equipment, preferably in an orthopedic or outpatient setting
• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and imaging techniques
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of safety standards and infection control procedures
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively
