MRI Technologist

Location: 830 Washington St, Watertown, NY 13601
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $38.71 to $50.18 per hour
Schedule: 9a-9p (12-hour shifts), 36 hours per week, weekends required

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team. Working under the direction of a Radiologist, you will perform a variety of MRI and imaging procedures at a technical level, without the need for constant supervision. You will be the first point of contact for patients’ imaging needs, and patient safety and quality care will be your top priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI and other imaging procedures and documentation under the direction of a Radiologist
• Apply ingenuity and initiative in carrying out imaging procedures for radiologic diagnosis
• Follow and uphold patient safety protocols
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients’ imaging needs
• Support the Radiology department and its daily function
• Put the patient first and deliver the highest quality of care

Requirements

• Graduate of a 24-month accredited School of Radiology Technology
• 12 months of previous MRI experience
• ARRT certification in Radiology
• ARRT certification in MRI
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology

Certifications Required or Obtained After Hire

• NYS IV Contrast certification (required, or obtained within 6 months of hire)
• BLS certification (required, or obtained within 3 months of hire)

Pay: $80,516.00 - $104,375.00 per year
