MRI Technologist – Night Shift

Role Overview: The MRI Technologist I performs imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality control in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing, positioning, and explaining MRI exams to patients, including neuro, body, and extremity scans.
• Performing venous access for IV contrast administration as directed.
• Entering data into Radiology Imaging Systems and processing images.
• Identifying anatomy on images and conducting equipment quality control tests.
• Reporting equipment malfunctions and managing supply levels.
• Supporting physicians with radiological needs and acting as a liaison within the department.

Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must hold an MRI certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT, and graduate from a radiologic technology program. New graduates need to obtain certification prior to employment. The role requires knowledge of MRI safety, technical procedures, and patient care. Ability to handle non-controlled medications and perform quality assurance is essential.
