MRI Technologist-Part Time-Day/Evening

Description MRI TECHNOLOGIST WANTED - FOR WEEKEND COVERAGE - Experienced MRI Technologist 8 hours every Sunday . Additional hours may be available to cover for vacations. The technologist will be expected to take Holiday call on a rotation.

This role is requires weekend availability -- SUNDAYS -- and willingness to cover Holidays and Call rotation. Summary Performs high quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides optimum patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely & correctly operate MRI equipment.
• Performs and records # for daily QA.
• Develops skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
• Develops skills in Contrast Administration.
• Demonstrates self direction and utilizes problem solving techniques.
• Cross trained in another modality.
• Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Credentials Essential:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Radiographer

Education Essential:

• HS Graduate or Equivalent

• Significant occupational risk
