MRI Technologist - Weekend Only

Role Overview Provides quality diagnostic and interventional radiology care, ensuring accurate documentation, proper operation of imaging equipment, and patient preparation. Acts as a resource for students and junior technologists, supporting complex procedures and patient education. Completes billing and documentation in compliance with guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all patient care activities.
• Operate imaging and specialty equipment effectively and safely.
• Support patient and family education related to procedures.
• Contribute to research activities when applicable.
• Coordinate multiple procedures, ensuring proper sequencing.
• Support billing processes and procedural documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT registration required.
• CPR and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of radiologic experience, including 1 year in MRI; advanced MRI certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
• Physical ability to handle medium lifting and prolonged standing, walking, and close work.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, with adherence to safety protocols.
