Bring Clinical Care Where Families Need It Most

The Children's Resource Center (CRC) is seeking After-Hours and Weekend On-Call Crisis Providers to provide timely, responsive clinical support to children, youth, and families experiencing behavioral health crises. Schedules are flexible and negotiable.

CRC’s Crisis Services bring care directly into the community—meeting families in their homes, and community when they need support most. As a Crisis Provider, you'll use your clinical skills to assess needs, respond to and de-escalate crises, develop appropriate safety plan, and help families identify practical next steps.

What You'll Do

• Provide immediate de-escalation, crisis intervention, assessment, and support to children, youth, and families.
• Respond to families in homes, community settings, and other appropriate locations.
• Assess safety concerns and determine appropriate interventions, safety plans, referrals, and next steps.
• Use trauma-responsive, family-centered, and evidence-informed approaches.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral-health related field and applicable Ohio behavioral health licensure required.
• Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, or families.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
• Comfort providing services in community settings.
• Ability to work independently while recognizing when consultation or supervision is needed.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service area.

Preferred: Master's degree, independent Ohio clinical licensure, and experience with crisis services.

Pay: Licensed provider: $6.50/hour, $13.50 per hour on holidays

Independently Licensed provider: $18/hour, $24/hour on holidays... this rate would only happen if they did not need a supervisor on-call as well
