What they need
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support MS SQL Server and MySQL databases
- Perform hot & cold backups, restoration, and recovery
- Handle database patching, upgrades, and migrations
- Implement and manage AlwaysOn / Replication / High Availability
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning
- Monitor databases and resolve production issues
- Support Azure-based MySQL databases
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams
- Maintain documentation and follow best practices
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of MSSQL architecture
- Experience in MySQL Administration (5.x & 8.x)
- Knowledge of InnoDB & MyISAM storage engines
- Hands-on experience in backup, restore, and DR planning
- Expertise in performance tuning
- Familiarity with MySQL Workbench & Enterprise tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shiftsRole & responsibilities
