Help young people and their families build a stronger future. DATA is seeking a compassionate, motivated Therapist to join our new Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Program, an evidence-based intervention serving youth with serious behavioral challenges, including delinquency, truancy, and substance use.

As an MST Therapist, you will work with a small caseload of five youth and their families, giving you the opportunity to provide intensive, individualized treatment. Working primarily through families and caregivers, you will address the factors at home, at school, among peers, and in the community that influence each young person’s behavior.

This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys active problem-solving, working closely with families, and delivering treatment in homes and community settings.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling consistent with the MST model and contract requirements.
• Assess youth and the systems that influence them, including family, peers, school, and community.
• Identify strengths, risks, and barriers to positive behavior, and develop focused treatment plans.
• Engage caregivers and other key participants in practical, goal-oriented interventions.
• Coordinate with schools, community providers, and other involved agencies to support treatment goals.
• Maintain intensive contact with families and deliver services when and where they are needed.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide access to treatment support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

What You’ll Bring

• A master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or another mental or behavioral health field.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to engage youth and caregivers facing complex challenges.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on families’ needs and participate in the on-call rotation.

Preferred experience:

• Providing in-home or community-based mental health services.
• Treating antisocial behavior in youth.
• Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, or other behaviorally based treatments.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
