MTO Certified Driving Instructor

Driven by integrity, ethics and a passion for providing the best in driver education, Drivewise is recruiting an experienced, certified driving instructor with their own vehicle for our Brantford location. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct driving lessons for students of various skill levels
• Teach students the rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and safe driving practices in accordance with MTO regulations and Drivewise curriculum.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to help students improve their driving skills
• Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson plans

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to students
• Strong teaching abilities to help students understand and apply driving concepts
• Patience and understanding to work with students of different learning styles
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

Pay: $36.00-$38.00 per hour
