MTS High-Speed Systems Architect

Build the system architecture and Agentic AI capabilities for networking, wired and wireless communications, and test and measurement. Work across host and embedded systems using PCIe, Ethernet, DDR/HBM, SerDes, and high-throughput data movement — from RTL and verification through firmware, drivers, software, and hardware bring-up.

Own the system architecture and domain intelligence behind FlexArray's Agentic AI capabilities for high-speed interface and data-movement systems, translating how experienced architects reason about throughput, latency, buffering, memory hierarchy, clocking, synchronization, reliability, and hardware/software partitioning into reusable agent workflows, knowledge bases, tools, and evaluation environments.

You'll develop capabilities for networking, wired and wireless communications, and test and measurement across host and embedded systems — spanning PCIe, Ethernet, DDR/HBM, high-speed SerDes, DMA, on-chip interconnects, packet and data-processing pipelines, and high-rate data acquisition — from requirements, architecture, IP selection, RTL, verification, and implementation through firmware, drivers, host and embedded software, prototyping, hardware bring-up, performance analysis, debugging, and release; and work directly with customers, converting project learning into scalable Agentic AI capabilities.

You bring a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; deep experience architecting FPGA, ASIC, SoC, or accelerator-based systems; broad hands-on experience across hardware design, verification, firmware, drivers, software, and lab debug; familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Python; and the ability to turn ambiguous customer requirements and engineering workflows into practical architectures and validated product capabilities.
