Muay Thai Coach

Street Jitsu | Roanoke, TX

Street Jitsu is looking for a Muay Thai coach who knows how to bring out the best in a room. We want members to leave class having learned something, worked hard, and felt excited to come back.

You’ll lead structured, high-energy classes that build sound technique, fitness, and confidence. Our ideal coach can challenge experienced students while making newer members feel welcome and capable.

What you’ll do

• Plan and lead Muay Thai classes with a clear progression from warm-up through technique, drills, and conditioning.
• Teach striking, footwork, defense, and pad work with close attention to form and safety.
• Adjust your coaching for different experience levels and give members useful, individual feedback.
• Set clear expectations for partner drills and sparring, and maintain a respectful training environment.
• Arrive prepared, start and finish classes on time, and help members feel connected to the gym.

What we’re looking for

• Solid Muay Thai or related striking experience, with the ability to demonstrate and explain techniques clearly.
• Experience coaching group classes or substantial experience helping teach them.
• Good judgment about training intensity, partner matching, and injury prevention.
• A dependable, encouraging presence and a genuine interest in helping people improve.
• Availability for a consistent weekly class schedule.

Competition experience is a plus, but the ability to teach and lead a class matters most. CPR and first aid certification are preferred. You must be able to pass a background check.

To apply: Tell us where you’ve trained, what classes you’ve coached, and how you would structure a class with both first-time students and experienced members.
