Mulesoft Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Define enterprise integration architecture, API strategy, and reusable integration patterns.
• Lead API-led connectivity initiatives using Experience, Process, and System APIs.
• Architect integrations between cloud, on-premises, SaaS, ERP, CRM, and legacy systems.
• Establish integration governance, security standards, and development best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization activities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to MuleSoft developers and integration teams.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Support CI/CD implementation, DevOps practices, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Create architecture documentation, design specifications, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience.
• Strong expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center.
• Experience with Mule 4, DataWeave 2.0, REST APIs, SOAP services, and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience integrating Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, or other enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
