MuleSoft Developer (On-site)

Job Details:

• Work Arrangement: Full On-site (Monday to Friday)
• Work Location: Pasig City
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Philippine Time)

Basic Functions:

MuleSoft Developers are responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, deploying, and supporting integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Their responsibility primarily covers the development and implementation of API-led connectivity solutions based on defined business and technical requirements. They are responsible for analyzing integration requirements, designing scalable APIs and interfaces, developing MuleSoft applications, implementing integrations across enterprise systems, and identifying opportunities for performance improvement and automation.

They work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional and technical teams, application developers, infrastructure teams, and end users to ensure that integration solutions meet business, technical, security, and operational requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for integration development across all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, Go-Live preparation, and postimplementation support for MuleSoft projects.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led connectivity principles.
• Design, develop, configure, and deploy MuleSoft applications and APIs using Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Platform, and related MuleSoft technologies.
• Develop and manage APIs and integrations using REST and SOAP services, supporting connectivity between enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and external systems.
• Develop and maintain reusable integration flows, APIs, connectors, and components to support enterprise integration requirements and improve development efficiency.
• Perform data transformation and mapping using DataWeave, including integration of data in formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and other relevant formats.
• Configure and manage APIs using Anypoint API Manager, including API policies, security controls, access management, and API governance requirements.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage MuleSoft applications using Runtime Manager and CloudHub, ensuring application availability, stability, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, analyze application logs and errors, and implement appropriate resolutions to ensure reliable integration operations.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of MuleSoft applications and integration flows based on technical and operational requirements.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes for MuleSoft applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement security requirements, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, authentication, authorization, API policies, and secure data transmission.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure proper system integration, data flow, interface functionality, and alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
• Facilitate Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and technical validation of MuleSoft integrations.
• Prepare technical and project documentation, including API specifications, integration designs, technical specifications, interface documentation, deployment guides, test scripts, and test results.
• Provide Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-implementation support, ensuring timely resolution of integration issues and stable operation of MuleSoft applications.

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical course.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in MuleSoft development, integration, API development, or related enterprise integration technologies.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub.
• Strong experience in designing and developing API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft.
• Proficiency in Java, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and DataWeave.
• Experience in developing and integrating APIs and enterprise applications across different systems and platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation for MuleSoft applications.
• Solid understanding of API and application security, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, authentication, authorization, and API policies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and their integration with enterprise applications.
• Experience with troubleshooting, performance optimization, application monitoring, and production support of MuleSoft applications.
• Familiarity with integration patterns, API lifecycle management, enterprise integration concepts, and microservices architecture.
• Preferably with experience in a local enterprise organization involving complex system integration, API development, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
