Müller Martini Web Offset Printer – 3-Month Contract

Gajic Consulting is recruiting three experienced Müller Martini web offset printers on behalf of a security printing company in Nigeria. This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, starting immediately. The role is on-site in Nigeria with a 48-hour workweek in 2 shifts. Applications are welcome from candidates based in India.

What you will do

• Set up, run and monitor Müller Martini Progress, Grapha and A74 narrow web offset presses (8 and 10 colours, UV curing)
• Produce security print and business forms with inline numbering to strict quality standards
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues during print runs to minimise downtime
• Perform quality checks on colour, register and numbering
• Carry out cleaning, routine maintenance and preventive maintenance
• Lead the press team and train local operators

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Müller Martini web offset presses (Progress, Grapha and/or A74)
• ITI, diploma or apprenticeship in printing technology, or equivalent
• Experience in security printing, business forms or numbering is a strong advantage
• Excellent colour perception and strong technical understanding
• Willingness to work a 48-hour week in 2 shifts, including overtime
• Good English communication skills
• Valid passport and availability for 3 months abroad

Your first months
In your first weeks, you will take over the operation of the presses and align with the local production team. By the end of the contract, you will have stabilised output, delivered consistent print runs across your shifts and trained local operators to continue the work.
