Job Description : Multi Axis machine programmer

• Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for multi-axis and mill turn

machines such as Mazak INTEGREX i-450.

• Prepare machining strategies for complex components involving turning, milling,

drilling, tapping, contouring and simultaneous 4/5-axis operations.

• Generate, simulate and verify CNC programs to ensure collision-free machining

and optimum cycle time.

• Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, machining parameters and tool paths

based on component material and drawing requirements.

• Support shop-floor trials, prove-outs, program corrections and cycle-time

improvement.

b. Additional Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Mastercam Mill / Mill-Turn / Multi-Axis programming.

• Good understanding of G-code, CNC controls, tooling, cutting parameters and

machining processes.

• Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings, GD&T and 3D CAD models.

• Experience in toolpath simulation, collision checking and post-processor

management.

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with CNC operators

and Manufacturing Engineers.

c. Preferred Exposure

• Experience with Mazak INTEGREX / Integrex i-Series or similar multi-tasking

machines.

• Hands-on experience with simultaneous 5-axis machining and complex millturn

components.

• Exposure to Mastercam post-processors, machine simulation and tool

libraries.

• Experience machining Oil & Gas / aerospace / automotive / precision

engineering components would be an advantage.

• Knowledge of Mazatrol and CNC machine setup/prove-out will be preferred.
