Multi-Cuisine Cook

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Multi-Cuisine Cook to join our hotel kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in preparing Indian and Continental dishes, with additional knowledge of Filipino and Russian cuisines. The candidate must maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian and Continental dishes according to hotel standards.
• Prepare Filipino and Russian dishes based on menu requirements.
• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and food presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitor food stock, check ingredient freshness, and minimize food wastage.
• Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and temperature control.
• Coordinate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Follow standard recipes and instructions provided by the Head Chef.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook or Multi-Cuisine Cook in a hotel or restaurant.
• Good knowledge of Indian and Continental cuisines.
• Experience in Filipino and Russian cuisines is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
