Multi-drop delivery driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi-drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across multiple locations, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency.
• Deliver goods to multiple customers within designated areas, ensuring accuracy of orders.
• Handle goods carefully, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures where required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch team regarding delivery status or issues.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents promptly to management.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and organised at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop deliveries.
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving, with knowledge of traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Organised with strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.

Pay: £80.00-£218.64 per day
